What’s new Pussy Cat? The new Kate Spade collection dedicated to our feline friends.

As much as I am a dog lover on the sassy scale I suppose cats come out on top and it would seem Kate Spade agrees. Her latest collection for AW15 has been inspired by our feline friends and I can’t wait to give you a sneaky peak and this PUUURFECT collection!

As designers go Kate Spade is one of my ultimate faves always producing stunning items that are inspired by the coolest, quirkiest and utterly adorable things and her latest collection is no exception. Once again Kate Spade has created some wonderfully whimsical pieces that I am sure will become part of that all-important AW15 wish list.

The collection’s colour scheme of royal blues, brilliant black and wonderful white will take you through perfectly to next season. The patterns of lustful leopard, pretty paw-prints and bold graphics are unmistakably Kate Spade,stunningly sophisticated yet uber cute!
As always Kate Spade has included classic pieces such has her silk dresses, kitsch-tees and signature accessories. As you can tell I am extremely excited and here is a little run down of my four favourites from this catwalk worthy collection.

1. The Cat’s Meow Embellished Cat Bag

I know it’s only July so a little early to be mentioning the C word…But Christmas will be here before we know it and you are going to need theperfect party purse for all them glittering events. This kitty cat inspired bag will add a bit of fun to your outfit and is effortlessly chic with its subtle embellished ears and suede finish. I must admit, I think its true love!

2. Meow Metro

 

If you want to add some feline fun into your wardrobe but want a subtle way of doing it, this watch could be the one for you. Its bright blue strap and little black cat face combined with gold edging has a whimsical yet stylish edge.#wishlistAW15

3. The Cat’s Meow Sweat Shirt

 

In recent collections we have seen Kate Spade become a lot more trend led and she has been adding a few more masculine, high fashion pieces. This sweatshirt is a perfect example of this; its slightly over-sized fit, grey marl colour and bold statement has a high fashion vibe and I think will be one of the collections best sellers. This would look great worn with a black leather pencil skirt and equally as fabulous worn casually with jeans and converse and is an AW must have!

3. Leopard Print Fit & Flare Dress

 

 

What would a Kate Spade collection write up be without a signature fit&flaredress. As usual there are a so many stunning dresses to choose but I am particularly in love with this leopard lovely. The sensational colour scheme is fitting for every season so you can start wearing it right away with your favourite pair of sandals. This gorgeous dress would be wonderful worn for a special occasion and would look even better teamed that kitty cat bag…..just a thought?

4. Walt Flats

 

Could these be any cuter? These mousy flats encompass everything I love about Kate Spade; charming and stylish. These will be a huge hit with anyone who loves the shoes at PED RED or anything made by Charlotte Olympia. The mouse detail is super cute and perfectly placed one this two tone effect flat.
